New program helps workers, businesses hit by tariffs

The Strategic Tariff-Relief Entrepreneurship Program (STEP), a 3-year program funded by the Government of Canada through FedNor, offers free training, workshops, funding and consultations to businesses and laid-off workers in Sault Ste. Marie impacted by tariffs; workers can receive up to $10,000 in non-repayable support to start businesses.
